Every dish is truly delicious at this recent haunt β€οΈ Today, Iβm sharing my favorite Cantonese cuisine spot in San Gabriel π½οΈ I feel that whether a restaurant is worth frequenting largely depends on their quality control and if their signature dishes consistently taste great! This Cantonese restaurant is becoming my go-to for dining out because every dish feels like it could be a signature offering π€€ My go-to orders π©·π©·π©· Spicy Vermicelli with Tiger Prawns in a Pot ππππ So many prawns! The quality is quite impressive in Los Angeles, but it still doesnβt beat the one in Vancouver that Wu Yifan often visits; that place has the best vermicelli and prawn pot. Personal preference, but I find the vermicelli here a bit too soft. If you like that texture, give it a try! Despite losing a star, I still polished off three bowls of rice with this dish β itβs that good! π Vietnamese Beef Dices πππππ Five stars for this one! Itβs cooked to perfection β crispy outside and tender inside, with just the right amount of saltiness and a hint of sweetness. This dish really showcases the restaurantβs Cantonese cuisine skills, and itβs not easy to replicate at home due to the lack of a strong flame! Definitely a must-order at the restaurant. πΆοΈ Lotus Root Stir Fry πππππ My staple order every time, also known as βMoonlit Lotus Pond.β Itβs incredibly well-executed and delicious β no complaints! Itβs a healthy Chinese dish, and every time I order it, I feel like Iβm eating something nutritious. Even if youβre not a fan of vegetables, this is a must-try! π₯¦ Signature Vietnamese Lobster Spaghetti ππππ Their signature dish! It seems like every table orders it, and itβs truly faultless β huge portions, priced by the market, usually around 2-3 pounds (about $200, if I remember correctly). The only reason it loses a star is that I donβt think the noodles are actual spaghetti β they seem more like instant noodles?? But they are indeed very flavorful. π¦ Fish Maw, Shrimp Paste, and Mustard Green Pot πππππ Excellent! The soup is incredibly fresh, with vegetables, shrimp paste, and collagen all in one dish. I can drink several bowls of this thick soup β itβs one of my regular orders. π² Pepper Pork Tripe and Chicken Soup πππππ Delicious! The soup is very rich, and itβs my go-to when Iβm in the mood for soup. Iβm not usually a fan of pork tripe, so I canβt say much about how well itβs prepared, but the soup itself is a winner. π₯£ β€οΈβ€οΈ I really love this place; consistency is key, and I hope they keep it up.
