Brussels Food Exploration | A Seafood Feast You Must Indulge In
The first thing I did when I arrived in Brussels was to indulge in seafood! At a busy street corner, there’s a conspicuous seafood shop that stands out because it’s not a traditional restaurant 🍴. One side features a large fish stall where you can buy all kinds of seafood 🦞 right from the street, a bit like a small seafood market. On the other side, there’s a huge grill covered with all sorts of fresh seafood, making it hard to resist the temptation to dig in! 👣 Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert - 5 minutes away 👣 Grand Place - 7 minutes away 👣 Manneken Pis - 11 minutes away 🦪 Bouchot Mussels | €9 Simply stir-fried mussels that retain the original flavors of the ingredients. The mussels are tender and juicy, with each bite bursting with the freshness of the sea 🌊, and the best part is they’re not too fishy and there’s no sand! 🐚 Escargots Sea Snail Soup | €7 This is a must-try! The freshness of the ingredients is a given, but what makes it delicious is the savory soup with a subtle pepper aroma, slightly spicy 🔥, perfect for sipping non-stop when it’s cold! 🐟 Eperlans Fried Whitebait | €6 These make for a great snack. The tiny fish are fried to a golden crisp, very fresh and appetizing! Their fried foods pair well with lemon slices 🍋 and tartar sauce for more layers and to whet the appetite. Other recommended dishes: Crispy squid rings, razor clams, grilled prawns This seafood joint is a favorite among locals, so expect long lines during peak dining hours! After ordering at the counter, head to the high tables under the tent across the street to wait. The servers will call your name热情ly, raise your hand to indicate, and the delicious food will be served. ⏰ Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am - 6:30pm ❌ Closed on Mondays #FoodExploration #100RestaurantsChallenge #100FoodieExplorations #FoodieExploration #EuropeanFoodExploration #BelgianCuisine #BrusselsCuisine #SeekingFlavorsInSmallTowns #RecordingDelicaciesOnTheJourney #BrusselsSeafood #BelgianSeafood #BrusselsFoodExploration #LocalsFavorite #ShoutingOutLocalCuisine #Tonightsdinnerlooksliekthis #HiddenGemsOnlyLocalsKnow
