🌆 Buffalo Food Guide: No-Regret Picks (Part 1)

🌆 Buffalo Food Guide: No-Regret Picks (Part 1)|Upstate NY Remote Worker’s Favorites As a longtime remote worker based in Upstate New York, besides NYC, Buffalo is where I hang out the most~ 🚗💨 Here are my personally tested, never-disappointing, no-filter-needed food spots—sharing them with fellow food lovers! 😋 🍣 1️⃣ Wind — A Paradise for Sashimi Lovers Strongly recommended by my American college roommate—years later, the quality is still consistently excellent! 🐟 The fish is fresh, cut thick and beautifully, melting in your mouth~ Service is also outstanding; the staff are always smiling and genuinely kind—the type that makes you want to leave an extra tip! 💖 It’s AYCE (All You Can Eat), but they never cut corners no matter how much you order—every dish is prepared with care. Recently, they’ve upgraded the menu with uni, red prawn, foie gras, and even Omakase! 🍱 Has anyone tried it? I’m curious how it is~ Anyway, if you love sashimi, this is the place to be! 🥢 2️⃣ AYCE’s Morning Tea Actually a hot pot restaurant by day, but in the morning it transforms into a soy milk, fried dough sticks, and tofu pudding breakfast stall! 🍳 Not exactly traditional Cantonese dim sum, but having a warm bowl of savory tofu pudding with freshly fried youtiao in Buffalo is a healing way to start a chilly morning~ ❤️‍🔥 Simple, humble, and full of homely comfort. 🍗 3️⃣ Anchor Bar — The Original Buffalo Wings Almost every college town has one, except Ithaca (seriously, why😅). Since you’re in Buffalo, you gotta try the wings at their birthplace! 🍗 Their fresh blue cheese dip is a major plus—rich but not overpowering, a perfect match for the tangy-spicy wings. As long as you avoid the “insanely hot” levels, the other flavors are pretty reliable! 🌶️🧀 🍨 4️⃣ Lake Effect — Creative Ice Cream Shop Recommended by locals when I visited the lily pond🪷 and wildlife wetland in Buffalo—not far from that nature preserve. This ice cream shop is delicious without being too sweet, and the flavors and names are super fun: 🍦 London Fog — Rich Earl Grey tea flavor, like eating solid milk tea~ 🍦 Silver Cloud — Smooth, classic vanilla done right! 🍦 Blue Moon — Fruity cereal-inspired, playful and refreshing! Great for dessert after a heavy meal or just when you need a sweet pick-me-up~ 💙 These are my go-to spots—real, warm, and not just hype. If you’re food-hunting around Buffalo, give them a try~ ✨ Next up: No-regret “white people food” edition! 🥗🔪 #Buffalo#UpstateNY#Ithaca#BuffaloFood#FoodieList#NoRegretEats
