Buffalo-themed Waterfall Restaurant in the Philippines šŸŸšŸ˜…

Villa Escudero, a popular tourist destination located about 95 kilometers southeast of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is deeply loved by locals. It's also known as the "Waterfall Restaurant" here. You can experience a buffet lunch at Labasin Falls, cultural performances, bamboo rafting, swimming, visiting a private museum, and a pink church šŸ’’. Of course, for me, it's an absolute paradise for taking photos šŸ“·. āļø Attractions: Includes a buffalo cart ride, a waterfall lunch, special performances, and bamboo rafting 🚣. āļø Activities: Upon entering, walk 200 meters to the designated spot to board a buffalo cart. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Waterfall Restaurant. At the Waterfall Restaurant, you'll dine with your feet in the stream. The meal is a Filipino buffet, with juices available at an extra cost. A coconut costs 50p, but it tastes a bit sour. At 2 PM, watch special performances, including bamboo pole dances similar to those of the Dai ethnic group in Yunnan, as well as cup-balancing, bench-jumping, and a local wedding dance performance with a bit of a storyline, which is quite unique. Around 3:15 PM, after the performances end, you can head to the bamboo raft area earlier to start rafting. There aren't many rafts, so if you're late, you'll have to wait for others to return before you can board. The return time is entirely up to your discretion. However, I personally think this activity is the most fun. You and a partner can paddle your own bamboo raft with small oars. It's serene and peaceful, feeling incredibly comfortable. After that, take a bus back to the pink church and the museum entrance to take photos. The air inside isn't well-ventilated, and photography isn't allowed. It's mostly filled with religious sculptures, local animal specimens, coins, clothing, skeletal weapons, etc. If you're not interested, you can skip it. Then, it's time to head back. šŸ‘‰ One-Day Itinerary: šŸ“Ž Taste a welcome drink. šŸ“Ž Visit the pink church and the owner's museum. šŸ“Ž Take a buffalo cart to the Waterfall Restaurant šŸ“ for lunch. šŸ“Ž Dine with your feet in the stream, enjoying an authentic Filipino buffet šŸ“. šŸ“Ž Experience bamboo rafting on the river. šŸ“Ž Watch traditional Filipino cultural performances. āļø Costs: Self-drive, hire a private car, or join a tour group. āļø Tips: Prepare for sun protection and mosquito repellent since you'll be eating outdoors and rafting. Wear flip-flops or bring a pair for easy dining. #Check-in #Travel #Weekend #NearbyTrips
