🌵 Cali Vibes | A Healing Oasis in the Desert of Palm Springs ✨

⭐️ This post follows the previous one on San Diego! This Southern California trip included 2 days in Palm Springs and 6 days in San Diego – perfect to read together. 🏜️ Palm Springs is totally worth a visit – don’t let the heat scare you away! The unique landscape of an oasis in the desert makes even driving a scenic experience 🚗💨. This time, we stayed for two days and two nights – a bit rushed but amazing 📍 Downtown Palm Springs Of course, had to check out the 📍 Forever Marilyn statue and Marilyn Monroe’s Walk of Fame 🌟. The whole downtown is clean, beautiful, and full of desert charm. There’s a map along the street for reference! 📍 Joshua Tree National Park Came to PS mainly for Joshua Tree – California’s lonely, otherworldly desert that stands out among national parks 🪐. Recommended easy trails: 🚶🏻 Keys View Trail: The view is absolutely stunning! Very easy trail, perfect for sunset and stargazing ✨. 360° unbeatable valley panorama – the endpoint wins everything! 🏃🏻 Hidden Valley Trail: Walk through giant rock clusters and dense Joshua trees – so fun! 🏃🏻 Barker Dam Trail: Diverse scenery – you can see water, rocks, and desert all in one! 🚶🏻 Cap Rock Nature Trail: A perfect short trail with great views. ‼️ MUST download the map in advance – zero service inside! Bring plenty of water 💧, and stay till night for stargazing 🌌. You can even leave to eat and re-enter – it’s not far. 📍 Palm Springs Aerial Tramway One of the largest rotating tramways in the world 🚠! Amazing panoramic views. You can also hike at the mountain top – we sadly skipped due to time 😢. 📍 Desert Hills Premium Outlets Seriously unbeatable shopping 🛍️! Brands for every budget. Snagged a small black Moncler coat! 👌 📍 Cabazon Dinosaurs Home to the world’s largest dinosaurs 🦖 – great for kids! No need to pay to go inside – the outside is perfect for photos 📸. 📍 The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens A desert zoo where you can feed giraffes 🦒🌵 ☕ Koffi Central A local coffee shop I loved – great coffee and bakery! 📍 Crossroad Cafe Delicious brunch spot 🥑 📍 JT Coffee Company These two are super close – perfect for brunch followed by coffee ☕️. #PalmSpringsTravel #PalmSprings #DesertOutlets #JoshuaTree
