Can’t believe there’s such a thing as this potato flatbread
A small restaurant next to Borough Market, with a simple menu but a taste of the true essence of the ingredients. I was truly amazed by this place; there are a few dishes that I think everyone should try before leaving London. Very very very recommended! ✅ 🥔 Potato flatbread, trout roe, chive butter & crème fraîche - The crust is crispy, the inside is fluffy, and the saltiness of the trout roe is just right, giving you a lazy, happy feeling with every bite! This kind of taste can only be known by those who eat it! 🫒 Sourdough focaccia & olive oil - A great starter. 🥩 Ox tongue, wild mushrooms & pancetta - Who would’ve thought they’d have ox tongue here! The meat is tender and delicate, with a slightly braised flavor. 🍕 Octopus, preserved lemon, capers, biber chilli - This pizza tastes like a mix of Lao Gan Ma and lemon, perfect for those who like sweet and sour. 🍕 Beef ragù, pancetta & parmesan - Slow-cooked beef ragù in a wood fire, with the meat juices blending with the saltiness of the pancetta and the rich creaminess of the parmesan. No fancy plating, no complex seasonings, just heart. It’s a place to sit down, eat slowly, chat slowly, and I think it’s also a great atmosphere for a first date. Their 8-seat spot is also great, very atmospheric! This is a Western restaurant I would visit again. 🍴 📍 Elliot’s Borough Market #London #LondonRestaurants #LondonWesternCuisine #LondonFoodExploration #LondonTravel #FoodExplorers #DeliciousFoodIsIndeedExtraordinary
