Canada | A Day Trip to Vancouver Zoo π¦π
Today, we visited the Vancouver Zoo! Itβs quite far from downtown Vancouver, but luckily the highway made the trip pretty smooth ππ¨. You can rent electric carts or bicycles inside the zoo, though the prices are a bit high πΈ. For families with young children, bringing a stroller is highly recommended πΆπΌ. The zoo isnβt too large, so you can walk and enjoy the sights at a relaxed pace. However, the variety of animals is not extensive. We saw lions π¦, snow leopards βοΈπ, cheetahs π, giraffes π¦, rhinos π¦, hippos π¦, flamingos π¦©, alpacas π¦, red pandas π¦, small pandas πΌ, zebras π¦, horses π΄, sheep π, deer π¦, pigs π, turtles π’, lemurs π, rabbits π, vultures π¦ , and bears π». The kidsβ favorite spot was the Dinosaur Park π¦! The dinosaur models move and make sounds, looking very realistic, enough to shock the little ones π². My baby wasnβt scared at all and even giggled with delight π, but those who are a bit timid might get startledβso take it slow as you enter. There are cold drink stands and a restaurant inside the zoo, which was a lifesaver in todayβs scorching heat ππ₯΅. Bringing your own snacks could be more economical ππ₯ͺ. Thereβs also a playground near the exit where kids can have some fun π . Standard adult tickets are $36, with seniors, children, and students getting a discounted rate of $26. Kids under 3 enter for free ποΈ, and parking at the entrance costs $8 for the whole day π. Renting an electric cart is $50 per hour, which we donβt really recommend π°.
