Canada | A Day Trip to Vancouver Zoo πŸ¦πŸ’

Today, we visited the Vancouver Zoo! It’s quite far from downtown Vancouver, but luckily the highway made the trip pretty smooth πŸš—πŸ’¨. You can rent electric carts or bicycles inside the zoo, though the prices are a bit high πŸ’Έ. For families with young children, bringing a stroller is highly recommended πŸ‘ΆπŸšΌ. The zoo isn’t too large, so you can walk and enjoy the sights at a relaxed pace. However, the variety of animals is not extensive. We saw lions 🦁, snow leopards β„οΈπŸ†, cheetahs πŸ†, giraffes πŸ¦’, rhinos 🦏, hippos πŸ¦›, flamingos 🦩, alpacas πŸ¦™, red pandas 🦊, small pandas 🐼, zebras πŸ¦“, horses 🐴, sheep πŸ‘, deer 🦌, pigs πŸ–, turtles 🐒, lemurs πŸ’, rabbits πŸ‡, vultures πŸ¦…, and bears 🐻. The kids’ favorite spot was the Dinosaur Park πŸ¦–! The dinosaur models move and make sounds, looking very realistic, enough to shock the little ones 😲. My baby wasn’t scared at all and even giggled with delight πŸ˜‚, but those who are a bit timid might get startledβ€”so take it slow as you enter. There are cold drink stands and a restaurant inside the zoo, which was a lifesaver in today’s scorching heat 🌞πŸ₯΅. Bringing your own snacks could be more economical 🍎πŸ₯ͺ. There’s also a playground near the exit where kids can have some fun 🎠. Standard adult tickets are $36, with seniors, children, and students getting a discounted rate of $26. Kids under 3 enter for free 🎟️, and parking at the entrance costs $8 for the whole day πŸš—. Renting an electric cart is $50 per hour, which we don’t really recommend πŸ’°.
