Those polar bears that wander around the town or rummage through trash cans are caught and brought here!☀️☀️ 🏠 During polar bear migration season, no one in Churchill locks their doors or cars. This is to ensure that people have a place to hide immediately if they encounter a polar bear. 🐻 Townsfolk might forget their home phone numbers, but they must know the police station's number by heart. 💕💕 The police's busiest job is dealing with these mischievous polar bears.🐻 🚁 In the past, the jail used to provide water and food to the polar bears. 🐻 However, it was later discovered that this only made the hungry bears settle in comfortably, failing to serve as a warning. 🌤️🌤️ So the policy was changed: during their "sentence," the bears are given no water or food as a small punishment to teach them a lesson. 🌈🌈 🌟Once their "sentence" is up, they're transported by helicopter to a remote area and released. 🌈 In Churchill, Canada, besides getting up close to polar bears, you can also enjoy the Northern Lights.
