Mont-Tremblant Guide: Cable Car + Luge + Treetop Walkway
๐ Mont-Tremblant is great for skiing in winter and maple leaf viewing in autumn. ๐จ๏ธ๐จ๏ธ We (the seniors) got to experience the cable car, Luge, and also visited the nearby Sentier des cimes Laurentides treetop walkway.โญโญ ๐ก Cable Car for Panoramic Views๐ Cable car fare: The first section is free; the second section (round trip) is around $28 CAD. Opening hours: 9am - 4pm (check the official website in advance recommended)๐ป๐ป Take the cable car up from the foot of the mountain to easily reach the top, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley and the lake. ๐๏ธ Autumn is the most beautiful time, with mountains covered in interwoven red and yellow hues โ the stunning maple forests will make you reluctant to leave.๐ ๐๏ธ Exciting Luge๐ Ticket: Approximately $28 CAD for two rides; more rides offer better value.๐๐ ๐๐Suitable for: The whole family โ simple and fun! This is one of the most popular activities at Mont-Tremblant. You control the cart as it slides down along the curves, which is quite thrilling and enjoyable.๐๐ If youโre a bit scared on your first try, go slow to get a feel for the slopes and bends, then speed up once youโre comfortable. You can scan your helmet to check the photos and videos taken during the ride, and decide whether to buy them afterward.๐๐ ๐ฒ Treetop Walkway (Sentier des cimes Laurentides) Itโs a 30-minute drive from Mont-Tremblant. The treetop walkway here is a major highlight โ you can stroll high up, weaving above the forest. ๐ณ๐ณ The walkway is 50 meters high, offering stunning 360-degree views in autumn and winter, perfect for photos and relaxation.๐ธ The entire walk takes about half an hour, with ramps instead of stairs. The first tower even has an elevator, making the whole experience quite easy.๐น Ticket: $31 CAD for adults, $21 CAD for children, $25 CAD for students๐๐ Opening hours: 9am - 5pm (may be shorter in autumn and winter)๐๐ Recommendation: Itโs best to arrive in the afternoon, when the light is softer and more flattering for photos! ๐ธ Tips Transportation: Itโs about a 5-6 hour drive from Toronto, depending on traffic.๐๐ Clothing: The temperature at the top is lower, especially in autumn and winter โ remember to bring a jacket.๐งฅ Book in advance: During peak seasons, it gets crowded. Itโs best to buy cable car and Luge tickets online beforehand to skip the queues. There are also many other activities like helicopter rides, ziplining, and ATVs โ feel free to book them if youโre interested.๐๐ Food recommendation: There are many French restaurants and snack ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฏbars in the resort. Try local specialties like fondue and hot chocolate! We had to wait in such long lines that day that we didnโt get to eat anything, haha. โจ Gather your friends and head to Mont-Tremblant soon!๐๐ #MontTremblant#MontTremblantResort#Quebec#TorontoShortTrip
