Canada: Banff & Canmore Dining Guide
Sharing my honest thoughts on these spots, which Iโve personally tested. The restaurants are located in Banff and Canmore. Banff Town +++ Shoku Izakaya +++ ๐๐๐๐๐ A great izakaya with no disappointments. The sashimi was very fresh, so you can go ahead and order with confidence. ๐ฃ +++ Block Kitchen and Bar +++ ๐๐๐๐๐ An Asian fusion eatery with pretty good flavors. I highly recommend the Naanwich โ itโs super aromatic! Also try the Lettuce Wraps, Pulled Duck Poutine, and the Curry Ramen (which is their daily ramen with fantastic taste and lots of toppings). However, I wouldnโt recommend the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken โ the chili flavor is a bit off. ๐ฏ๐ +++ El Toro Restaurant +++ ๐๐๐ Average taste. If you decide to go, itโs better to make a reservation in advance as the wait time can be a bit long. Recommended dishes include the EL Toro Salad (ask for no goat cheese), Home Battered Calamari, Fish Tacos, Oven-baked 6oz Cod Fillet, and the Special Fajitas (a mix of grilled meats). ๐ฅ๐ฎ Canmore Town +++ BLAKE Restaurant Brewhouse +++ ๐๐๐๐๐ A very unique and delicious Asian Fusion spot! Highly recommend the Duck Wings, Tandoori Cauliflower (I loved this roasted cauliflower with its tangy and spicy sauce), and the Mechanic Burger (a black beef burger with very tender meat). ๐๐ +++ Thai House Restaurant +++ ๐๐๐๐ Good flavors and decent value. The Papaya Salad is refreshing, Kang Ped Sapparod Curry is excellent with rice, Pad Kee Mao with Pork is tasty, and the Thai Iced Coffee is fantastic! ๐ฅ๐โ๏ธ +++ Rocky Mountain Bagel +++ ๐๐๐๐ A fairly standard bagel breakfast spot with a bit of a morning queue. ๐ฅฏ #FoodDiary #RestaurantReview #FoodieAdventures #Banff #Canmore #DiningInCanada #FoodLovers #CanadianEats
