Canada DT Hidden Gem South American Bistro 🍻 A Total Surprise❗️

I had no idea there was such an amazing restaurant hidden in the financial district of downtown Toronto! We tried it for a friend's dinner, and wow, it was seriously delicious, ladies. Totally blew me away! 💕 DATES 🥓: The combination of smoky bacon and dates is simply divine! The slightly crispy bacon, sweet and chewy dates, and manchego cheese create a unique and flavorful sweet appetizer. 💕 CORN RIBS 🌽: A must-try! The corn is sweet and perfectly seasoned with queso fresco cheese, piri piri sauce, and chipotle lime salt—flavors I’ve never had in any other restaurant before! 💕 COCONUT RICE 🥥: It might look simple, but one bite will tell you how special it is. The rice is perfectly cooked with a rich coconut flavor, and the crispy coconut flakes add a delightful texture. I love the touch of goji berries—it’s such a refreshing dish, especially for summer! 💕 WHOLE GRILLED FISH 🐟: You’ll need to wait a bit for this one, but it’s so worth it! The signature dish is grilled branzino with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. Almost no bones, so no worries! The green chili sauce it’s served with is super fragrant and flavorful. 💕 LATIN MESS 🍮: A dessert with passionfruit and coconut that’s light and not too sweet. It has sponge cake, curd, ice cream, and crispy bits—every bite is a new flavor adventure! Everything else was also so good! Ceviche, grilled beef, pineapple shrimp, beef empanadas, Brussels sprouts... no matter what you choose, it’s hard to go wrong. The vibe in the restaurant is cozy and perfect for dates or small gatherings with friends (definitely book ahead if you can).
