Ticket rush opens at 9:00 AM (choose from 3 date blocks). 2️⃣ Professional Accreditation (Film Market, Media, Distributors, Students, etc.) Requirements: Motivation letter + proof (employment/school/film club membership) + ID Early access at 7:00 AM (different screenings than the 3-Day Pass). Pro tip: Some friends got approved using cinema membership cards (e.g., annual cinephile club passes). ⏳ My Application Timeline: 2023 (Mid-Festival): Applied Feb 26 → Approved Mar 31 Wrote in French (had a native speaker polish it)—a friend who submitted in English 2 days later got rejected. Coincidence? Maybe. 2024 (Final 3 Days): Applied Feb 21 → Approved Mar 13 Wrote in English—focused on my 2023 experience and what I hoped to see this year. Does applying early matter? Yes, but it’s not the only factor—some early applicants got rejected, while later ones succeeded. Cost? Just a €24 application fee—no extra charges for screenings or events!
