Captured My Photo of the Year in Maine! šŸ¦ž

These photos were actually taken during my trip to Acadia last month—but they’re still my favorite shots of the year! There aren’t many national parks in the Eastern US, so I’d been longing to visit Acadia for ages, and it totally lived up to the hype. The sunrise over the sea of clouds from the top of Cadillac Mountain was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning to make it there? 100% worth it! A quick tip: Bring warm clothes or a blanket—even though it’s summer, the mornings up there are surprisingly chilly, and you’ll thank yourself for staying cozy while waiting for the sun. šŸŒ„ Acadia has so many hiking trails to choose from ā›°ļø, and we ended up on a really steep one by accident. I hadn’t climbed such a steep mountain in years! So a heads-up for anyone planning to hike: Make sure to check the trail difficulty carefully before you set off. Safety always comes first! And let’s talk about the lobster šŸ¦žā€”it was delicious and affordable, especially compared to Boston prices. They even had lobster ice cream (yes, you read that right!) at one spot. I was too full to try it, though, so I just took a photo with the lobster display instead—total foodie FOMO, but the picture turned out fun! šŸ˜‚ #RomanticLifeDiary #AcadiaNationalPark #AcadiaSunrise #Maine #BostonLife #BostonTravel #BostonSightseeing #AmericanLife #USATravel #DailyAmericanLife
