🥩 Butcher and Singer in Philly — incredibly delicious, though a bit of a splurge $$$. 🍽️ Rat’s Restaurant in Hamilton, NJ — lunch menu was limited, sadly missed out on their famous dinner offerings! 🍊 Panda Express — no further comment… I just really love American Chinese food 😅. 🍜 You Yuan in Chinatown Philly — affordable and tasty rice noodles! 🍸 Andra Hem — amazing cocktail bar in Philly — my bestie and I each had three drinks! 🥙 Middle Eastern spot — after craving shawarma for two months (yes, I built one on iPad 😂), finally had the real deal. The bread was incredible — tasted like home 🇨🇳. 🌶️ Feng Xiaozhang (Principal Feng) — opened during winter break, got to try it! Went around 4 PM on a Thursday — no wait, ate happily. 🥓 Mr. Pig Korean BBQ — been here like 800 times, mainly because it’s close to campus. Perfect post-intern feast. 👩🍳 Home-cooked meals — made by me or friends — wholesome and delicious! International students = master chefs 💪. 🇹🇭 Dara Thai — love Thai food, and this place tops JJ Thai for me! Their Thai tea and coffee were just right (if a bit sweet). 🎉 Class potluck for Lunar New Year — my professor (especially our lovely “Xiao He”) is an angel! Love her! 🥢 New Year’s Eve dinner at Emei with two close friends — when in doubt, Emei never disappoints. Turns out I’ve been pretty happy this past month! Last semester holding strong 😭… but graduation is coming — time to eat mindfully and stay active.
