Carb Lover's Paradise | 🍷 Berlin El Pepe

Hidden on a street with an unassuming entrance, **El Pepe** is a Spanish restaurant that feels like a cozy haven. 🍴 As soon as you step inside—brick walls, paintings, and warm yellow lighting create a perfect ambiance that melts away the day’s fatigue. For about €30 per person, you’ll be more than full— It’s the kind of meal where four people leave with leftovers to take home! 🪄 **Tortilla de Patatas** (Potato Omelette) 🪄 Squid Stew (Daily Special) 🪄 **Lomazo** (Pork Loin with Cheese, Garlic Mayo, and Red Pepper) + Bread Manchego with Quince Paste (Sheep Cheese 🐑) + Bread Morcilla (Spanish Blood Sausage) + Bread Chorizo (Spanish Spicy Sausage) + Bread Plate of Pimientos de Padrón (Fried Green Peppers with Coarse Salt) 🪄 Plate of Boquerones en Vinagre (Marinated Anchovies) + Bread Plate of Jamón Serrano (Spanish Ham Platter) + Bread Sangria 🍷 (Red Wine with Apple and Orange) 🪄: Highly recommended dishes that truly impressed me, but everything else was delicious too! Trying to remember it all for your reference. 🥫 The bread-to-food ratio was 300%, and it was the most bread I’ve ever gotten at a Spanish Tapas place in Berlin. It was incredibly satisfying! 🫙 Be warned! Have a great weekend! 📍 **El Pepe** #food #restaurantreview #tastingforeigncuisine #globalfoodtribe #berlinrestaurant #berlin #spanishrestaurant
