Chapultepec Castle & Zoo

A great weekend spot in Mexico City Castle entrance fee 🎟️: 95 pesos. No food or water allowed inside. Locals get free entry on Sundays, but it can be quite crowded, so it’s best to avoid Sundays if possible. The castle isn’t very large, but every part of it is beautifully detailed. Some rooms are quite small, and it can feel a bit cramped with many people. You can explore the castle in about 2 hours. A 10-minute walk away, there’s a zoo that’s free to enter, and they have pandas! But if you’re going to see the animals, be aware that after 4 PM, the little critters start winding down for the day, so it’s best to go earlier. If you have enough time and energy, I recommend visiting Chapultepec Castle ➡️ Anthropology Museum ➡️ Zoo. All three attractions are in the same park and within walking distance of each other.
