Charming Historic Boutique Hotel in the Garden District 🌿🏛️
This beautiful boutique hotel has been on my must-visit list ever since I spotted it in a Condé Nast article years ago, and it absolutely lived up to every expectation! Nestled in the picturesque Garden District, the hotel is housed in a magnificently restored residence originally designed by the renowned architect Henry Howard.❤️😘 We were warmly greeted by Tyler upon arrival — and to our delight, even though we showed up five hours before official check-in time, he not only helped us store our luggage but also informed us that our room was already ready! 🎉✨ The interior spaces are both beautiful and welcoming, decorated with understated elegance that truly honors the historic residential character of the building. We especially loved the cozy yet sophisticated bar area in the parlor — the perfect spot to unwind with an evening drink. 🍸 Our room was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and filled with charming decorative touches. Everything about this place radiates quiet refinement without ever feeling pretentious. The location proved to be ideal — peacefully quiet yet incredibly convenient. We were within a 10-minute walk of our Garden District walking tour 🚶♀️, historic cemeteries, the legendary Commander’s Palace restaurant, and the vibrant Magazine Street with its charming boutiques and cafes. This hotel provided the perfect blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and genuine hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable New Orleans experience! 💚 #GardenDistrictGem #BoutiqueHotel #HistoricStay #NewOrleans #HenryHoward #SouthernCharm #TravelGoals
