Chessington World of Adventures Resort + Zoo in London

Who else loves theme parks and zoos as much as I do? 🙋🏻‍♀️ If you want to have the experience of both a theme park and a zoo in one day, I highly recommend a day trip to Chessington World of Adventures Resort! 🚞 Transportation: Take a train from London Waterloo station to Chessington South station (36 minutes direct) and then it’s a 10-minute walk from there. The train ticket is £10 for a round trip. 💰 Ticket Price: £36 for adults; buying online is half the price of buying on-site. 🕰️ Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00-17:00, closes at 18:00 on weekends. I recommend downloading the resort app in advance: chessington resort, where you can see the map and the queue times for each attraction. 🎢 Recommended Attractions Croc Drop - A drop tower ride situated in a crocodile’s mouth, giving you a feeling of weightlessness. Mandrill Mayhem - A roller coaster with 360° loops; the queue is long, but the ride is new and thrilling. Vampire - A roller coaster with upside-down loops and spins, with a thrill factor of 5⭐. Tiger Rock - A water ride perfect for summer, you’ll get splashed a bit, with a thrill factor of 4⭐. Dragon’s Fury - Another roller coaster that’s not the newest but still lots of fun, with a thrill factor of 4⭐. Zoo Segment: 🦍 The gorillas and tigers are adorable, and there are various types of monkeys. There are penguins 🐧 and marine life too. If you’re tired, you can relax and watch the animals. Food Corner: The food in the park is generally average, with options like burgers, fish and chips, and pizza. The taste is passable. I suggest going early as the park is quite large and closes relatively early. If you arrive late, you might miss out on many attractions!
