Challenge: Solo one-day road trip to Indianapolis from Chicago 🚗💨 It’s a 3-hour drive from Chicago to Indianapolis, passing by endless cornfields along the way 🌽 🛍️ Circle Centre Mall 49 W Maryland St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Spilled coffee on my white shirt 😅 Had to stop by the mall for a quick change. The large skylight here is totally Instagram-worthy! 📸 🦞 Slapfish 345 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Tried their lobster roll – so good! 🍞 The side salad was fresh and delicious too. After eating, wandered around and spotted cool building murals. The painted figures always feel like they’re watching you 👀🗿 🏛️ Indiana War Memorial & Museum ⛲ Depew Memorial Fountain ⚔️ Soldiers & Sailors Monument 🏛️ Indiana Statehouse These historic sites tell the story of the city’s past. 🍫 South Bend Chocolate Co. 30 Monument Cir, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Stopped for a chocolate-dipped spoon – yes, that’s a thing! 😋🥄 🏪 Indianapolis City Market 🍺 Tomlinson Tap Room Unfortunately, one is temporarily closed and the other permanently shut down. Missed the opening hours, so didn’t get to go inside. 😢 🌊 Central Canal 🌳 White River State Park 801 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Beautiful riverside and canal walkways – such a relaxing vibe!
