Citizen M Miami... M Stands for Micro ๐Ÿจ

My son and I were in Miami for a special event at Miami Worldcenter. When I was looking for a hotel, I saw that Citizen M was right next to the event venue ๐ŸŽ‰. I decided to book two rooms since there were no rooms with two double beds available โ€“ in fact, there were no rooms with large beds at all ๐Ÿ˜ฏ. Wow, am I glad I booked! These rooms might be the smallest Iโ€™ve ever stayed in โ€“ more like a Japanese capsule hotel than a traditional hotel room ๐Ÿฎ. Hereโ€™s a quick rundown of the check-in and room experience: There was no place to park, so my son stayed in the car while I went inside ๐Ÿš—. Whatโ€™s this? I had to check myself in and print my own key cards ๐Ÿ—๏ธ. The staff were super friendly and helpful when around, but they mostly lingered nearby and occasionally offered guidance โ€“ I didnโ€™t have time for that! Then, you have to download a parking app to get a hotel discount , but we decided to skip the hassle and paid full price. The parking garage is public but in the same block as the hotel. The lobby itself is beautiful โ€“ very eclectic and fun, with a gorgeous bar/breakfast area that I really loved ๐Ÿธ. After parking and finding the elevator, we headed to our rooms. For some reason, we were on completely different floors ๐Ÿง. We checked out his room first, then mine. I canโ€™t fully explain how small these rooms are ๐Ÿ˜…: The king-size bed is against a brick wall Ever stayed in a small cruise cabin? Well, cut that into quarters (or even eighths!) and youโ€™ve got a Citizen M room โœ‚๏ธ The sink is outside the bathroom The toilet and shower are tiny, but the shower itself was great ๐Ÿ‘ Everything is electronic and run via a tablet in the room โ€“ pretty handy ๐Ÿ’ก The hallways to the rooms totally gave off โ€œThe Shiningโ€ vibes ๐ŸŽฅ. That said, the rooftop warm-water pool and bar are truly spectacular with amazing downtown views ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ. The location is unbeatable โ€“ near the Miami Heat Arena, Bayside Marketplace, and two museums ๐Ÿ€. The Worldcenter itself is beautiful and will eventually be home to Inter Miami CF once completed โšฝ. Itโ€™s also super convenient for getting around via the People Mover in downtown Miami โœจ. Now for the big question โ€“ would I stay here again? No. Am I glad I tried it? Yes! ๐Ÿ˜„ #CitizenMMiami #MicroRoom #Worldcenter #RooftopPool #CentralLocation #TechHotel #SmallButCozy #MiamiStay #FirstAndLast #CityViews ๐ŸŽ‰
