Classic Italian Restaurant: Giuseppe and Sons
❤️A classic Italian restaurant that offers a $40 family-style menu during restaurant week, perfectly presenting the classic Italian flavors. From the appetizer of Italian ham with melon and pepper stuffing to the traditional Sunday meat sauce and Milanese-style fried chicken, every dish is a classic. Finally, the meal is perfectly concluded with a shared plate of Italian cream rolls (cannoli). In this underground restaurant, every corner exudes a retro and private charm, and each dish delivers authentic Italian flavors. Starting with the pre-meal bread, after tasting bread from countless Italian restaurants, this is my favorite. Unlike the traditional dry and hard bread, it is visibly plump and soft. The tomato sauce has more flavor, and the plain one has more of the aroma of the dough, reminding me of the scallion pancakes from my childhood canteen, and I couldn't help but eat four pieces. ❤️Fried Calamari, a classic appetizer, is above average, and the freshness of the ingredients already makes it a winner. Those who love it will definitely enjoy it, but it's not a must-order. ❤️Caesar Salad, I never order salads in restaurants, but I couldn't stop eating this one, the garlic and cheese flavors are so rich, and it was the first time I found out that a vegetarian salad can be so delicious. ❤️Veal Marsala, the meat is not as tender as what I've had in other restaurants, I will try the chicken next time, but the Marsala sauce is really, really great, highly recommended! You can taste the delicious mushrooms, the rich and oily sauce aroma, and the full flavor of the pot, and with the sauce, I ate my fourth piece of bread. #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaRestaurantRecommendation #PhiladelphiaRestaurants #PhiladelphiaItalianFood #NorthAmericanItalianCuisine #NorthAmericanRestaurants #NewYork #PennFood
