🌇 Cleveland Travel Notes

Cleveland is surprisingly beautiful 🏙️—it’s LeBron James’ hometown! ⛹️‍♂️ But wow, the smell of weed here is even stronger than in Massachusetts… 🍃💨 Hunting for city landmarks feels like playing Zelda and searching for shrines 🗺️⚔️. There are five in total—I found three! No exact addresses online… It’s like a real-life open-world game. 🎮 Hotels in the U.S. are crazy expensive—even motels cost around $100 a night 🏨💸. So I’ve been sleeping in my car to save money. The tricky part is finding showers and laundry. 🚿 Showers are available at travel plazas. Today, a kind trucker saw me about to pay and helped me out—he told me truckers get free showers nationwide and swiped his card for me. He said most truckers are happy to help if you ask! 🙌 Now my daily cost is just $5 for laundry. Pretty comfortable too! 🚗 Each night I find a relatively safe spot to park—travel plazas are great. Love’s and Pilot stations are also good options—they’re paid but open 24/7 with fewer random people. Before sleeping, I cover the windows with sunshades 🔲 and lock all doors. Feeling safe enough. The person I once promised to travel across America with… is no longer here. Maybe having nothing left to lose is why I dare to adventure like this. Whatever.
