Colmar | Revisiting the Alsatian-Style Restaurant

I spent three days in Colmar and visited this local restaurant two nights in a row. Everything I ordered was delicious! 😍 - **Fleischnakas** (Picture 3): It's a bit like a meatloaf, but it's soaked in meat broth. Super tasty, and the broth is so flavorful! 🥩 - **Fondant de jambonneau** (Picture 4): The large ham knuckle with honey and thyme is unique and incredibly delicious. 🍖 - **Picon Bière** (Picture 5): A specialty beer from the Alsace region. It's slightly bitter with a hint of orange aroma, and even better with lemon syrup. 🍻 - **Tourte au poulet et aux pommes** (Picture 6): Chicken and apple pie. It looks simple, but the secret is in the Christmas spices. 🥧 - **Choucroute du Chef** (Picture 7): Another traditional dish. The sauerkraut is generous, and the meat is fantastic. 🍲 - **Café gourmand** (Picture 8): Coffee with five little desserts. The homemade ones are just different. ☕🍰 I really wanted to try the Black Forest cake, but unfortunately, it was sold out. I had to leave with a bit of a sad face. 😔 The kids' menu is also great in terms of portion size and taste. The service is amazing (my sister threw up as soon as we entered the restaurant on the first night. I immediately rolled up my sleeves to clean it, but the waitress didn't say a word and even helped us). What's not to love? ❤️ **Le Fer Rouge** #FrenchLife #ColmarDelights
