๐ Colorado Ski Trip Food Guide โ Where to Eat on the Slopes! ๐ฒ
Over Thanksgiving, I hit the slopes in Colorado and quickly learned: a lot of places close for the holiday. Unlike Salt Lake City, where tasty Chinese spots are everywhere, eating well in Colorado ski towns takes a little more strategy ๐ โ๏ธ Near Frisco / Silverthorne / Copper Mountain ๐ฒ๐ฝ Sabor Mazatlan (Dillon) A classic Mexican spot โ try the clay pot soups (like the Molcajete Campechano ๐ฒ). I ordered the Fajita โ sizzling meats with rice and beans ๐ฎ You canโt go wrong with their tacos either! ๐ฅฉ Mint Steakhouse A super fun DIY experience โ pick fresh cuts from the meat counter and grill it yourself! Fair prices and great quality. ๐๏ธ Denver โ Perfect for Before or After Your Flight ๐ฅข Bistro King Authentic Northeastern Chinese food! Must-tries: Guo Bao Rou (crispy sweet & sour pork) Shredded potatoes Suan Cai Yu (pickled cabbage fish) Spicy beef brisket hot pot Their mala liangpi was sold out when we went โ so call ahead to pre-order, especially when itโs busy! โท๏ธ Around Aspen ๐ White House Tavern Everyone said this was the best pizza theyโd ever had โ and I see why! Huge portions, perfectly cheesy, not greasy. Even back in Boston, Iโll be dreaming of this pie ๐ญ Their pastas โ both cream and tomato-based โ are also top-notch! Eat well, ski hard, and enjoy the Rockies ๐๏ธโค๏ธ #ColoradoSkiEats #SkiAndDine #ColoradoFoodGuide #MintSteakhouse #BistroKingDenver
