Comedian Randall Park Will Be Featured At SF SketchFest Event This Weekend — And You Can Still Get Tickets

San Francisco Sketchfest is in full swing, bringing numerous comedy events to San Francisco through the end of the month. The comedy festival includes stand-up, sketches, improv shows, and more throughout its two-week run. Some of the most notable and popular events are their in-person tributes, which feature conversations with major comedians. This weekend, comedian Randall Park will take the stage for a conversation with fellow actor Janet Varney . Randall Park is well known for his role as Jimmy Woo in the Marvel Universe, along with his lead role alongside Constance Wu in the popular comedy series *Fresh Off the Boat*. He’s also had roles in *The Office* and *Veep*, and directed a film that debuted in 2023. The tribute will feature a conversation between Park and Varney, who is the co-founder of SF Sketchfest. Varney and Park have previously worked together on the reality show *On the Lot.* The tribute is this weekend, on Saturday, January 24, from 4 to 5:30 pm at the Great Star Theater. Tickets are still for sale, although they are going fast, so we recommend getting yours soon. Tickets start at $47.88, including fees. Sketchfest was started over 20 years ago by David Owen, Cole Stratton, and Janet Varney as a showcase for Bay Area sketch comedy groups. From there, the festival has grown into a major comedy event, spanning 2 weeks every January. The festival draws major talent every year, and 2026’s lineup includes famous comedians like Elizabeth Banks, Pamela Adlon, Ana Gasteyer, and many more.
