Great Star Theater — Attraction in San Francisco

I purchased VIP tickets and a table for the "Empire Strips Back " for my wife and I, the seats were more than front row as they were basically up at the stage! The seats were comfortable and the table was good enough for us to have multiple drinks on and a little extra space. They had 3 places to purchase alcohol and that was nice, this was a no cash or hard liquor served at this event. A interesting selection of beer and seltzers, they also had a great selection of champagne including Veuve Clicquot yellow label. The seating is first come first served but the VIP seating was pre determined. The theater is close to a few parking structures and near little Italy/Chinatown. The area didn't seem schetchy, the venue was a decent size not a huge nor small venue and had a good stage and sound system. The show we watched was sexy but not overly sexual, classy and very entertaining! When the intermission happened it was not difficult to get to the bathrooms for men or women. The show was unfortunately out of "swag" or memorabilia to purchase or was very limited to what was available but they gave you a QR code to buy items online. There are restaurants and bars in the area if you wanted to get food or drinks beforehand. I would definitely return to the venue and or see the show we attended! Overall this was a fun place that put on a marvelous show, the crowed gave a standing ovation at the end and getting out only took a few moment like exiting a movie theater. Easy to get to when driving over either bridge. We were close to the stage, and had comfy seats. The sound was good, the audience was respectful and without offending odors.

I liked the decor and vibe. overall, happy to go back if a performance looked interesting. This one was for sketchfest.

The lobby was nice, with some fun merchandise on sale. Staff were kind and efficient. we arrived later than ideal, but they walked us to our assigned seat anyway. Thanks!

VIP for two is the tickets we bought. Very misleading. Sat crammed in a two person table with another couple??? Not what we had in mind. Thought for sure we would have the space to ourselves??? Hence the ticket title of "VIP for TWO". Literally felt like a sardine and even though I paid for front row VIP as I said another couple was sitting on our laps practicallly and got there before us and sat right in front of us obstructing my view.
