Conchas in San Antonio – A Colorful Treat at La Panadería! 🍞✨

Woke up early for a morning walk 🚶‍♀️ and made a special trip to La Panadería Bakery Café – a well-known local spot with Spanish-inspired coffee and baked goods. I was so excited to try their famous Conchas – those colorful, shell-shaped Mexican sweet breads! They looked absolutely gorgeous, and I bought several different flavors 🎨… but honestly? They tasted like dyed pineapple buns – just a layer of sugary frosting on top of a pretty basic bread. Not bad, but not extraordinary either. To make things worse – I ordered three, but when I got home, I found only two in the bag 😤! And the packaging was tricky: it looked like a full bag, but it was actually just a sleeve open on both ends. When I lifted it, one concha fell right out and ended up on the ground… 💔🙃 A bit of a mixed experience, but hey – now I know! #Conchas #SanAntonioEats #LaPanaderia #MexicanBakery #MixedReviews
