Cool Architecture, Delicious Food! 🌴🏛️

While staying at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, I wanted to grab a bite nearby—and stumbled upon this absolutely cool restaurant! Connecting the train station and the hotel, it’s a place where historic grandeur meets lush, tropical vibes. With its soaring ceilings and towering palm trees, it feels like dining in a glamorous Victorian greenhouse. 🥖 A Memorable Start I began with the sourdough bread and butter – simple but perfectly executed – and a Patience Cocktail, one of eight special drinks created to celebrate the building’s 150th anniversary. Both were fantastic! 🥩 A Standout Steak & Decadent Dessert Following my server’s recommendation (which was 100% spot-on), I ordered the rump steak – cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully tender. I ended with a rich chocolate dessert and a soothing cup of tea – a lovely, balanced finish. 👀 Perfect for Solo Dining As a solo diner, I really appreciated being seated in a cozy corner where I could people-watch discreetly while enjoying my meal. It’s the little things that make a difference! 💰 Surprisingly Reasonable For such a stunning setting and high-quality experience, my total bill came to under £80 – definitely worth it. #StPancrasDining #VictorianChic #SoloFriendly #AnniversaryCocktails #LondonEats
