Copenhagen’s Thai Gem - Kin Arai Thai Corner, Recommended by Thais
📍 Kin Arai Thai Corner I tried this place based on a Thai colleague’s recommendation (she orders without even looking at the menu) ❤️ Coconut Chicken Soup (Tom Kha Kai) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 With a sour and spicy flavor (you can choose chicken or shrimp, but chicken is more recommended), it’s 65 DKK for one portion and can be ordered in sizes from a small pot to a large pot The taste was a pleasant surprise, super delicious 😋 Usually, I’m accustomed to ordering Tom Yum Goong or red and green curries when eating Thai food. The white coconut milk was not at all cloyingly sweet, as recommended by the locals. Paired with ❤️ sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, it’s super tasty, and it’s not available every day. ❤️ Pad Thai Fried Rice Noodles 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Delicious, but I didn’t find it particularly outstanding compared to other places. ❤️ Garlic Fried Spareribs 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The spareribs were good, I could slightly taste the 🐷 flavor, but it was acceptable. The dipping sauce was similar to the one for the grilled pork neck at BanGaw, both are spicy and flavorful, but the meat is also tasty without the sauce. ❤️ Green Papaya Salad 🌟🌟🌟 The salad was well-mixed and delicious, but quite heavy on the palate, a bit salty, It’s like a Sichuan version of a sour and spicy cold dish, not the best value for money. ❤️ Thai Iced Tea 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Loads of ice, it’s decent, and it didn’t keep me awake at night. The total for three people was 867 DKK 😋 #food #Denmark #Copenhagen #hiddenrestaurant #Nordic #foodie #ThaiFood #CoconutChicken
