Copenhagen — Geranium
🍴Geranium 🔸Michelin 🌟🌟🌟 🔸2022’s No.1 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list 🍁Currently featuring an autumnal menu, with a full non-alcoholic beverage pairing + a full wine pairing 🍹Their non-alcoholic drinks are indeed three-star quality, delicious, visually appealing, and crafted with care 🌱The head chef has been a vegetarian for many years, and the restaurant doesn’t serve meat, only vegetables + fish/shellfish ▪️ An additional caviar dish, quite interesting, served with potato waffles + sour cream ▪️ At first, I was visually put off, thinking ‘a paralyzed alien creature might splat me in the face at any moment,’ but fortunately, it was delicious. The kale, seaweed, and apple provided a smooth and balanced taste, with the raw apple cutting through the richness of the caviar and hazelnuts ▪️ There’s a Chinese chef in the team who’s been with the restaurant for two years, mainly responsible for the dessert section. This artichoke and hazelnut dish is her favorite. BTW, every morning the chefs have a competition to see who can shell hazelnuts the fastest ▪️ Unexpectedly, a plate of leaves turned out to be the main course, but it was delicious. Every vegetable and flower was delectable ▪️ An incredibly autumnal dessert that made my mouth and stomach very happy. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a delicious dessert. A true testament to the wonders of nature, perfectly ripened Lastly, I can’t help but throw a little shade at Paris’ Arpege. It’s not that my taste buds have deteriorated; their vegetables really just weren’t up to par that day (ah!!) #MichelinRestaurant #Wine #Copenhagen #TastingAutumn #RestaurantRecommendation
