Cotswolds Food Review | The Ivy Cheltenham
The Cotswolds is such a dream getaway! ๐ This time I stayed in Cheltenham โ a central and lovely town โ and enjoyed a super relaxed vibe: waking up late, having a nice lunch, then exploring the villages. ๐กโจ ๐ Restaurant: The Ivy Cheltenham Beautiful setting + delicious food! Highly recommended ๐ ๐ฝ Recommended Dishes: Steak Tartare ๐ฅฉ They offer two versions: as a starter (served with toast) or main (with chips). The beef quality is excellent! The seasoning is unique โ not totally classic, but super tasty. Best part? They mix it right at your table and ask which ingredients youโd like to include. Very customisable! Crispy Duck Salad ๐ฆ 100% inspired by Peking duck ๐ The sauce is sweet and flavourful, served with pak choi, white radish, and cashews. A brilliant East-meets-West dish โ really shows the chefโs skills! Lobster Linguine ๐ฆ Just okay ๐ The lobster itself was good and generously portioned, but the pasta wasnโt fresh โ and that really brought the dish down. Avocado Benedict ๐ฅ Skip this one โ Honestlyโฆ one of the worst Iโve ever had. ๐ฅค Drink: Peach Iced Tea ๐โจ lightly recommended โ refreshing and not too sweet! Didnโt try the alcoholic drinks since Iโm not a big drinker ๐ซ๐ท #RestaurantRecommendation #UK #Cotswolds #Cheltenham #UKTravel #TravelUK #LondonDayTrip #BathDayTrip #BristolDayTrip ๐ด
