Cotswolds Food Review | The Ivy Cheltenham
The Cotswolds is such a dream getaway! π This time I stayed in Cheltenham β a central and lovely town β and enjoyed a super relaxed vibe: waking up late, having a nice lunch, then exploring the villages. π‘β¨ π Restaurant: The Ivy Cheltenham Beautiful setting + delicious food! Highly recommended π π½ Recommended Dishes: Steak Tartare π₯© They offer two versions: as a starter (served with toast) or main (with chips). The beef quality is excellent! The seasoning is unique β not totally classic, but super tasty. Best part? They mix it right at your table and ask which ingredients youβd like to include. Very customisable! Crispy Duck Salad π¦ 100% inspired by Peking duck π The sauce is sweet and flavourful, served with pak choi, white radish, and cashews. A brilliant East-meets-West dish β really shows the chefβs skills! Lobster Linguine π¦ Just okay π The lobster itself was good and generously portioned, but the pasta wasnβt fresh β and that really brought the dish down. Avocado Benedict π₯ Skip this one β Honestlyβ¦ one of the worst Iβve ever had. π₯€ Drink: Peach Iced Tea πβ¨ lightly recommended β refreshing and not too sweet! Didnβt try the alcoholic drinks since Iβm not a big drinker π«π· #RestaurantRecommendation #UK #Cotswolds #Cheltenham #UKTravel #TravelUK #LondonDayTrip #BathDayTrip #BristolDayTrip π΄
