Cotswolds Food Review | The Ivy Cheltenham

The Cotswolds is such a dream getaway! 😍 This time I stayed in Cheltenham β€” a central and lovely town β€” and enjoyed a super relaxed vibe: waking up late, having a nice lunch, then exploring the villages. 🏑✨ πŸ“ Restaurant: The Ivy Cheltenham Beautiful setting + delicious food! Highly recommended 🌟 🍽 Recommended Dishes: Steak Tartare πŸ₯© They offer two versions: as a starter (served with toast) or main (with chips). The beef quality is excellent! The seasoning is unique β€” not totally classic, but super tasty. Best part? They mix it right at your table and ask which ingredients you’d like to include. Very customisable! Crispy Duck Salad πŸ¦† 100% inspired by Peking duck πŸ˜„ The sauce is sweet and flavourful, served with pak choi, white radish, and cashews. A brilliant East-meets-West dish β€” really shows the chef’s skills! Lobster Linguine 🦞 Just okay πŸ‘Œ The lobster itself was good and generously portioned, but the pasta wasn’t fresh β€” and that really brought the dish down. Avocado Benedict πŸ₯‘ Skip this one ❌ Honestly… one of the worst I’ve ever had. πŸ₯€ Drink: Peach Iced Tea πŸ‘βœ¨ lightly recommended β€” refreshing and not too sweet! Didn’t try the alcoholic drinks since I’m not a big drinker 🚫🍷 #RestaurantRecommendation #UK #Cotswolds #Cheltenham #UKTravel #TravelUK #LondonDayTrip #BathDayTrip #BristolDayTrip 🍴
