Craving a Traditional English Breakfast? Head to This Spot!
This place is the epitome of a British brunch spot, especially known for its popular English breakfast. It's a favorite among the locals, and the service from the staff is excellent despite the small size of the restaurant. 🏠: Savoy Cafe & Kitchen 📍: 11 Great Eastern St, London EC2A 3EJ 🥞Pancake - These pancakes are hearty and served with fruit and jam. The sweetness level of their pancakes is just right for me; not too sweet, which I love. 🥙English Breakfast - Featuring ham, bacon, and hash browns (my favorite). The grilled cherry tomatoes are quite sweet. I found that baked beans aren't as unpalatable as rumored; they're actually quite good. 🌮Omelette - Scrambled eggs with bacon, served with fries and salad. I'd recommend this; I had the cheese omelette which went perfectly with bacon, just shoveling piece after piece into my mouth. Be mindful that it can become salty once it cools down. For two people, we ordered three dishes and three drinks (we over-ordered), totaling over £40. We couldn't finish it all and took the leftovers to go. Normally, you'd spend around £15 per person. I was initially worried it might be a miss, but the experience turned out great, and the food was delicious.
