This place is ok but tend to find the staff leave tables uncleared for long periods. We were in for about an hour and there was a least one table that was left uncleared the whole time we were in even thought there were occasions when the staff weren't that busy, talking to each other a lot. Toilets also leave a lot to be desired. Disabled toilet seat does not fit and is literally hanging off and toilet handle is about to break off so both these things need looking at. Staff pleasant enough but little things can make all the difference...
Read moreThe Savoy Cafe is definitely one of my favourite places in Newcastle to go, Paddy and all the staff are welcoming, courteous and friendly and the service and food is exceptional. It’s a lovely place to relax and chill out whilst having some beautiful food. We literally went here most days for breakfast and dinner because it was great value for great food with a good selection. Such a wonderful variety of different dishes from sandwiches paninis soups salads and main dishes including breakfast dishes. Delicious cakes Cupcakes apple Tart and traybakes.
