Croatia | I Need to Rave About This Amazing Stewed Squid in Dubrovnik!

⚠️ Disclaimer: Just my personal taste! I hit the jackpot with my very first meal in Dubrovnik—this incredible stewed squid! Had to share ASAP~ At noon, I randomly picked a highly rated Croatian restaurant (4.8 stars on Google Maps). It’s perched high up on stone steps . The waiter was super friendly (major plus!), and he recommended their signature stewed squid and lamb shank. We ordered both, and oh my—SO. DAMN. GOOD. The squid comes in a tangy tomato broth (fair warning for those who dislike sour flavors, but I loved it!). The squid itself was tender and bouncy, stuffed with a slightly sweet filling. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, mildly sweet, and the sauce was divine! We each had a main + drink, totaling ~€70 (€35/person). With complimentary bread, we left stuffed! The last few pics are from a harbor-view restaurant in the Old Town where we also ordered squid—different style but equally delicious! My partner preferred this one (less acidic). Fun fact: This spot is part of the same group as Restaurant Panorama (that mountaintop place!). After dining at Panorama, they gave us a discount card for 10% off at sister restaurants. So we used it here—saved 44kn (total 440kn)—nice! 📍 Heritage of Dubrovnik Prijeko ul. 32, 20000, Dubrovnik 📍 Gradska kavana Arsenal Restaurant Ul. Pred Dvorom 1, 20000, Dubrovnik #CroatiaTravel #Dubrovnik #GameofThrones #KingsLanding
