Restaurant: Daisho Sushi Lounge Visited: April 2024, Dinner Food Rating: 5/10 Passed by this spot many times, always thought it was a generic AYCE place with a meh name… Turns out it’s a proper izakaya – though “Daisho” still sounds a bit off to me 😅 🍽 Grilled Miso Black Cod (6/10) Flavor and fish quality were decent, but the grilling was a fail – the skin was burnt to a crisp 😅 Also found 5-6 tiny bones 🦴 🍢 Chicken Thigh Skewer (5.5/10) Tender? Yes. Tasty? Not really. Felt like they forgot the salt 🧂 🍗 Chicken Soft Bone Skewer (3/10) Chewy cartilage with zero seasoning – just a sad mini lemon on top 🍋😐 🍚 Fatty Tuna Ikura Donburi (4/10) Tasted okay, but it was minced tuna instead of proper slices 🫠 Bowl was big, but the quality didn’t match. 💁‍♂️ Side Notes: Most mains come with salad & miso soup – but tasted like instant stuff 🥗❌ Strong charcoal smell in the dining area, smoke visibly floating around… 🏭💨 Spacious seating, but not enough to make me return. #VegasEats #LasVegasFood #SushiReview #IzakayaVibes 🎌🍶
