🤠 Dallas’ Cowboy Town: Fort Worth | Dallas Trip
We reached Dallas at the end of our journey, with less than a day to explore—so we kept it simple and sweet! Day 1 Afternoon: Fort Worth 📍 Fort Worth Stockyards – about 40 mins from downtown Lined with retro Western shops – so much character! 🤠👢 Cowboy boots everywhere and oh-so-cool. Hung out at Stockyards Station for food, drinks, and souvenirs 🍻🛍️. Don’t miss the Longhorn cattle drive through the streets at 11:30 AM & 4:00 PM – it’s a spectacular sight! 🐂✨ Rodeo shows run every Friday & Saturday – book early on their official website if interested! 🎟️ Day 2 Morning: Bishop Arts District + Downtown 📍 Bishop Arts District An artsy commercial area packed with bars, restaurants, galleries, vintage stores 🧥🖼️, murals, and Mexican cultural vibes. Perfect for a photowalk – highly recommend for photo lovers! 📸 Crowded—go early or parking is a nightmare. (I ran out of phone battery… lesson learned 😅) 📍 Downtown Dallas Giant Eyeball 👁️: A 10-meter-tall hyper-realistic blue eyeball! Located on private property – currently fenced off, viewable from outside. Thanks-Giving Square 🍰: A chapel that looks like a cake from the outside! The spiral glass ceiling inside is gorgeous, but it was temporarily closed. Old Red Museum 🏛️: Great place to learn about Texas history. Also spotted the Golden statue downtown! ✨ With limited time, we saved other spots for next time! Already dreaming of coming back~ 💭 #Dallas #FortWorth #Texas #RoadTrip #CowboyTown #TravelUSA #BishopArts #DowntownDallas #TravelDiary #PhotoSpots #TexasCulture 🚗🌵📲
