🌿 Fort Worth Botanic Garden | A Green Oasis in Texas 🤠🌷

If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a perfect choice! Founded in 1934, it’s the oldest major botanic garden in Texas and spans over 110 acres with more than 2,500 species of plants. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or traveling with family, this place offers something special for everyone. One of the highlights is the stunning Japanese Garden 🌸🎋. With its traditional bridges, koi ponds, waterfalls, and stone lanterns, it feels like stepping into a serene landscape straight out of East Asia. Kids especially love feeding the koi fish 🐟💦—you can even buy fish food on-site! The vibrant colors in spring (think cherry blossoms and azaleas) and the fiery foliage in fall make it a year-round delight. But that’s not all—the garden also features: A lush Tropical Conservatory full of exotic plants 🌴🌺 The Fuller Garden with seasonal floral displays The Rose Garden with countless varieties in bloom (perfect for photos!) 📸🌹 Numerous walking trails, shaded benches, and picnic spots 🧺☀️ After spending a few hours surrounded by nature, we made a quick stop on the way back to Dallas at the Fort Worth Water Gardens 💧🏙️. Designed by famous architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, this modern water feature is more than just a “small waterfall”—it’s an architectural marvel! You can walk down concrete steps surrounded by rushing water and mist, making it a refreshing (and Instagram-worthy!) stop. Kids should be supervised here as the steps can be slippery. Both spots are easy to access by car and make for a relaxing yet engaging day trip. If you’re doing a road trip through North Texas, don’t miss these two gems! 📍Fort Worth Botanic Garden: 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107 📍Fort Worth Water Gardens: 1502 Commerce St, Fort Worth, TX 76102 #TravelUSA #RoadTrip #Texas #Dallas #FortWorth #BotanicGarden #JapaneseGarden #WaterGarden #FamilyTravel #NatureLovers #ExploreTexas
