📍 Dallas Food | Yemeni 🇾🇪 Coffee at Qahwah House
I heard Middle Eastern milk tea was also unique, so I made a special trip to this McKinney spot. Inside, apart from us, every customer was Middle Eastern—looks like we came to the right place! ☕️ The aroma of their house-roasted coffee beans filled the air. We ordered a small pot of Yemeni milk tea, which was more than enough for two. With the first sip, I knew I was in trouble—I probably won’t sleep tonight! 💤 The tea flavor was incredibly strong, similar to Hong Kong milk tea but with a distinctive spice note. I looked it up and found it’s brewed with cardamom and nutmeg. I thought I might not like it, but the more I drank, the more I got into it~✨ Another dessert called Sabaya is said to be the most popular Middle Eastern sweet—it's like layered pastry drizzled with honey, though a bit too sweet for our taste 🍯. Next time, I’ll definitely try Yemeni coffee! After all, this is one of the birthplaces of coffee, and spiced coffee must offer a uniquely charming experience 🌿~ 📌 Tips: The milk tea has a noticeable spice flavor; if you’re unsure, try a small portion first The honeycomb dessert is often limited daily and tends to sell out in the afternoon Freshly roasted Yemeni coffee beans are available for purchase in-store #McKinney#McKinneylfe#McKinneyfood#fooddiary#McKinneycoffee#YemeniCoffee#Dallas#DallasMcKinney
