Date Night in Philly | Double Knot – Japanese Izakaya & Yakitori 🍢🍶

Third visit to Double Knot! Last Sunday, we snagged what felt like a couple’s booth—on our left was a lovely senior couple in their 70s still enjoying romantic dates 👩‍🦳👴❤️, and on our right, a pair on what seemed like a first or second date, leaning in over small tables in that cozy, tipsy, flirty vibe. Back to the food—we mostly ordered yakitori (grilled skewers). The Kobe beef skewer was absolutely incredible—honestly better than some steaks I’ve had. A must-try!!😁👌 We also tried the duck rice bowl, but the duck tasted a bit gamey (maybe a U.S. preparation thing?)—not really our style.
