Day 2 – Glendale Galleria, Farmer’s Market & Griffith Observatory
My second day in LA was packed with fun little adventures—and I loved every minute of it! 😊 First stop: Glendale Galleria. This mall is such a joy to wander through—spacious, well-organized, and with tons of stores to browse. Whether you’re here for window-shopping or picking up essentials, it’s easy to lose track of time (in the best way possible) 🛍️. Next, I hit up a farmer’s market—and scored the biggest win: a yellow watermelon! It was so sweet and fresh, with juicy flesh that tasted like summer in every bite. I’d never had a yellow watermelon before, and now I’m hooked 🚜🍉. The highlight of the day? Griffith Observatory! This spot is amazing—but fair warning: I didn’t do any pre-trip research, so I struggled to find parking at first. Luckily, there’s a free parking lot at the foot of the hill, and free buses that take you up to the observatory. Super convenient, no stress at all 🚌! I only got to see part of the observatory (there’s so much to explore!), so I definitely think it’s worth setting aside more time to look around properly. The exhibits are fascinating, and the views of LA from the grounds are unbeatable—even a quick visit feels special ✨. All in all, day 2 in LA was a perfect mix of shopping, snacking, and sightseeing. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the trip brings! #LosAngelesTravel #LAdaytrip #GlendaleGalleria #GriffithObservatory #FarmerMarketFinds
