Day 2 in New Mexico ~ Albuquerque Adventures!

After a rough first day—thanks to a delayed Denver layover that had me checking into the hotel at 5 AM—I finally rolled out of bed at noon. 🛌💤 Breakfast? More like brunch! 🍽️ Went to a local diner and tried a beef & corn burrito—so good! 🌯🔥 Exploring Old Town Albuquerque 🏜️ The historic center is small but charming—wish I’d snapped a full panorama! 📸✨ Turns out, ABQ, Taos, and Santa Fe all share a similar layout: A central plaza (usually with a church or museum) ⛪🏛️ Shops selling Breaking Bad merch, local crafts, and souvenirs 🧢🍍 Lots of Southwestern vibes 🌶️☀️ Breaking Bad Pilgrimage 🚐💥 Next stop: Los Pollos Hermanos’ real-life counterpart! 🍗 But honestly? It’s just... a normal fast-food joint. 😅 No blue meth on the menu, sadly. 💙 I wanted to see Walter White’s house, but the owner (understandably) hates tourists—so I skipped it. 🏡🚫 Respect the locals! Off to Santa Fe! 🌄 Hit the road at dusk and arrived in Santa Fe by nightfall.
