🚂 Day Trip from LA to Santa Barbara by Train 🌊

Santa Barbara is so beautiful—I’m already planning my next trip! Went last week and even caught the Día de los Muertos parade! 🎭 🚆 Train from LA: Departed from Union Station (East Parking: $8/24h). Took the Pacific Surfliner (no observation car, but big windows!). No security check—just hop on! 🏛️ Attractions (All walkable except Old Mission—short taxi ride): 1️⃣ Old Mission Santa Barbara Historic church with beautiful rose gardens still blooming. 🌹 2️⃣ Downtown Strolled through charming streets with Spanish/Mexican vibes—perfect for photos! 3️⃣ County Courthouse Gorgeous architecture; saw 3-4 couples taking wedding photos! 💒 4️⃣ Stearns Wharf Pier Pink sunset views + fresh seafood! Must-try: Uni Scallop ($36)—sweet, creamy, and freshly opened. 🍰 Food & Desserts: Alessia Patisserie: Raspberry matcha cake & lemon tart 🍋 + lavender drinks. Not too sweet—perfect balance! Tondi Gelato: BEST gelato ever! Fruit flavors like apple, dragon fruit, passion fruit—so refreshing! 🍧 Santa Barbara Shellfish Company: Uni scallop is a MUST—so fresh the spines were still moving! 🦀 Takeout recommended (dine-in lines are long). Enjoy with sunset views! Broad Street Oyster Co.: Lobster roll & oysters were fresh, but uni stole the show! 🦞 #LosAngelesLife #WeekendGetaway #SantaBarbara #FoodieGuide #TravelTips #TrainAdventure
