Day Trip Memoir 🏛️ 【Teatro Romano de Mérida】

🌟The drive from Lisbon to Madrid is just too long, so we decided to stop for a day in a small town named Mérida along the way. 🌟The entire ancient city is like a large Roman ruins site. You can buy a combo ticket to explore each site according to the map, or just buy a ticket for the Teatro Romano de Mérida (with over 40,000 ratings on Google Maps, scoring 4.8 out of 5). Other ruins can be viewed from the outside. 🌟The prices in this small town are heartwarming; coffee and toast with toppings are less than 2€ each. However, many shop owners only speak Spanish, making communication a bit tricky. And be sure to check the business hours; many shops are only open for limited times, and we were met with closed doors at several places. Particularly, an interesting souvenir shop near the theater closes at 4 PM, giving off a relaxed vibe that’s hard to imagine. #OffTheBeatenPathCulturalTravel #WorldCulturalHeritageSite #TravelNotForTheGram #Spain #PhotoContest #Photography #Plog #Travel #CinematicFeel #CaptureTheMoment
