🍵 Decent Dim Sum for Lunch – A Reliable Spot in Central London! 🥢

We visited Duck and Rice for the second time this past Saturday at 12:30 PM, just before heading to a show. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty – save for two tables – but it quickly filled up, buzzing with a relaxed weekend vibe. 🎭✨ We ordered a variety of dim sum to share: Fried Cheung Fun – well-executed and satisfying 🍚 Taro Puffs – absolutely delicious, with a delicate crispy shell 🍠💥 Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings) – fresh, translucent, and tasty 🍤 Venison Puffs – rich in flavor and perfectly flaky 🦌🥐 Scallop & Shrimp Siu Mai – a solid choice, though not extraordinary 🥟 Prawn & Chive Dumpling (Sichuan Style) – nice kick, well-balanced 🌶️ Vegetable Dumpling (Mushroom) – deeply flavorful and very tasty 🍄❤️ Most dim sum dishes were priced around £10 for three pieces, which is reasonable for sharing among three people, though it might feel a bit tight for a table of four. The service was okay – we did have to remind the staff a couple of times, but they were polite and responsive. The atmosphere is pleasant and casual, though nothing particularly memorable. All in all: Duck and Rice is a good choice for quality dim sum in central London, especially if you're planning a pre-theatre meal! 🎪🤍 #DuckAndRice #DimSumLove #LondonEats #PreTheatreDining #WeekendLunch
