Decent Spot in El Paso: West Texas Chophouse đŸ„©âœš

If you’re ever in El Paso and craving a hearty meal, West Texas Chophouse is a solid choice! This small chain has only two locations—one right here in El Paso and another in Vegas. Don’t let the “chain” label fool you though—the portions are huge, the prices are fair, and the vibe is pure West Texas comfort. Let’s talk about the Nachos. 🙌 These aren’t your average appetizer—they’re loaded, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. And I usually don’t even like beans
but the black bean puree they use? Absolutely incredible. It’s smooth, rich, and weirdly addictive 😂. Now, about the steak—I’d read some reviews on saying their steaks tend to run overcooked (medium coming out as medium well). But our experience was the complete opposite! We ordered a bone-in ribeye cooked medium, and what arrived was clearly medium rare đŸ„©đŸ”Ș. Kinda funny—glad I didn’t order medium rare, or else I might’ve gotten a blue rare steak! So maybe just be extra specific when ordering your temp here. Despite that little surprise, the steak was still juicy and full of flavor. And honestly, for the price and portion, it’s hard to complain too much. If you’re passing through El Paso or looking for a casual yet satisfying meal, this place is worth a stop. It’s not fine dining, but it’s reliable, generous, and has those little touches (like that amazing black bean puree!) that make it memorable. #LifeInNorthAmerica #ElPaso #FoodReview #SteakLover #TexasEats #WestTexas #FoodieShare đŸœïžđŸ‡șđŸ‡žđŸ€
