Mexican Food You Can’t Miss in the US-Mexico Border Town
Mexican Food You Can’t Miss in the US-Mexico Border Town🌮 El Paso El Paso is a Western Texas town right on the border with Mexico 🤠🌵! Since we’re already here, how could we not try some Mexican food? This time, I truly tasted the tacos of my life!!!! 🌮✨ 📍 Restaurant: Taconeta 311 Montana Ave A-1, El Paso, TX 79902 Pretty much a local spot, decent location near downtown, and the flavor is seriously great!! Ordered four of their popular tacos: 1️⃣ Mushroom Taco 🍄 The best and most surprising one! Bottom layer is black bean purée + loads of fried oyster mushrooms, each piece large, crispy outside and super juicy inside. Topped with guacamole + pickled pink onions + chili oil + cilantro. The pickled onions really cut the richness, and the chili oil blends perfectly—must try! 🔥😋 2️⃣ El TEÓFILO 🍤🧀 Shrimp and cheese filling—shrimp not huge but super springy and crisp, paired with a generous amount of melted cheese, amazing!! This one comes with a soft tortilla; another shrimp version has a crispy shell. 3️⃣ SUADERO 🐂 Shredded beef brisket + guacamole + diced onions + cilantro 4️⃣ POLLO 🐔 Shredded chicken + guacamole + diced onions + cilantro The third and fourth are basically the same in toppings and seasoning, just different meats—good in a standard way. But their two house sauces are awesome! The red one is like a salsa—fire-roasted red peppers + chopped tomatoes, tangy and slightly spicy. The other yellowish-green one is made from jalapeños, a bit pungent and quite spicy—I loved it 🌶️💚. Whichever taco you choose, adding these sauces instantly takes it to the next level ⬆️🔥 #FlightAttendantLife#GlobalFoodSquad#AuthenticTravelFood#Taco#MeaningOfTravel#ElPasoFood#ElPaso#ElPasoExploration#LifeInNorthAmerica#EatingIsTheRealDeal
