This little restaurant is absolutely fantastic! We visited in late April after seeing all the rave reviews, and it completely lived up to the hype. Our lunch experience was wonderful from start to finish. A major plus is the convenient and free parking available behind a nearby church 🏪, making it easy to access. SS Gai is situated right in the heart of a vibrant dining area, offering a few covered outdoor seats — perfect for people-watching while you enjoy your meal 🏙️. We started with the grilled coconut — tender, fragrant, and slightly sweet, it complemented the rest of our meal beautifully. My wife ordered the two-piece fried chicken set, and she couldn't stop praising how crispy and flavorful the chicken was, especially with the delicious dipping sauce on the side 🍗. I went for the hot chicken sandwich — packed with bold flavors and seriously satisfying, though definitely on the rich side!
