On July 25th, I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a pre-theatre dinner at WH Hotel before heading to The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre 🎭. The experience was nothing short of exceptional—elegant, refined, and perfectly executed. This visit was especially meaningful as it marked my 75th time dining at this Michelin-starred establishment 🥂💫. The staff, as always, delivered brilliant service, with a special mention to Edoardo from Siena 👏🇮🇹. He guided us through a selection of English wines with impressive knowledge and charm—a true ambassador of the dining experience! The pre-theatre menu began with several delicious appetizers, followed by two standout starters: Mackerel and Beef Tongue—both beautifully prepared and full of flavor! 🐟👅 For the main course, we shared two exquisite dishes: Lamb and Sea Bass, accompanied by perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables 🥩🐟🥕. Each bite was a celebration of taste and technique. Dessert featured a rich Chocolate Tart and a delicate Panna Cotta 🍫🍮. While both were enjoyable, they didn’t quite reach the breathtaking heights of the earlier courses—still lovely, but not unforgettable. Overall, this was a magnificent dinner worthy of its Michelin star ⭐.
