My mom and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our experience here — from our wonderful main server, who was incredibly personable and charming (he even mentioned reading my story about who made the reservation and our wish to try Café Brûlot!), to every flavorful bite and sip 😊🍷. For our meal, my mom had the duck with Brabant potatoes, and I tried the Pompano Duarte with asparagus hollandaise — both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of rich, satisfying flavors 🦆🐟. We also toasted with French 75 cocktails and, of course, ended with the legendary Café Brûlot — a true New Orleans classic!✨ After dinner, we went upstairs for a fantastic presentation on the Mardi Gras museum, which I highly recommend — it truly added depth and magic to the evening 🎭✨. I wish I could remember the name of the young woman who led it (she was so passionate, lively, and engaging!), but she did an absolutely outstanding job.
