Delicious French Cuisine by the Aare River in Bern🇨🇭, Switzerland
Nestled by the banks of Switzerland's longest river, the Aare River, this French restaurant🍴 offers delectable dishes like escargot, foie gras, and whole roasted fish. Dining in the outdoor garden on a sunny day must be sheer bliss. ☀️ Appetizers: Fresh oysters🦪 (had a bit of sand...) Escargot 🐌 – fantastic Foie gras – exquisite Main Courses: Whole roasted fish🐟 – two portions were heavenly Steak (250g) – not as good as the ones from Australia… Dessert: Daily specials, chosen blindly Since arriving in Switzerland, we've often been approached by friendly locals at neighboring tables. Tonight was especially lively, as we chatted across three tables, and half the restaurant knew we'd traveled halfway around the world🌍 to get here. This French restaurant🇫🇷 feels more like casual dining. Overall, prices in Switzerland🇨🇭 are about 20% higher than in Germany🇩🇪, but locals don't have a tipping habit. The average cost per person is 80-90 CHF, definitely worth a try. 💰 📍 Brasserie Bärengraben #Bern #BernCuisine #BernEats #SwissCapitalBern #SwissTravel #SwissTourism #SwissFood #FrenchCuisine #FoieGras #Escargot #Europe #EuropeanTravel #EuropeanTourism #EuropeanCuisine
